Things looking bleak, feeling uninspired,
and just plain worse?

Holiday cheer can turn to holiday blahs
and intermingle with PTSD.

Post “Holiday Season” there’s special brand of the blues that can hit us in our heart and soul. Even mid-holiday season, our emotions can take a nosedive. Though not much is said about it, for most people feel a lag in our energy and inspiration after the holidays. And this year… geez louise.

Six Shades of Sociopath

The truth is: a sociopath by any other name
is still a sociopath.
The irrelevant-for-recovery DSM
trips us up in seeing what’s really happening.
Underneath it all, they’re identically pure poop.

Working as long as I have in guiding people to unwind their hellish rides in coercive control, I’ve noticed a striking pattern to the personas sociopaths co-opt.

For amusement and because we need classifications that are useful to resolve this sickeningly real situation, I’ve assigned categories to distinguish variations of a sociopath. Every sociopath creates a persona to live by. They need a front, a “personality” to present, a constructed face of “normal”.
